Dangerous goods seminars are taught in a relaxed and professional atmosphere designed to maximize learning. Seminars are designed to satisfy the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements that every shipper to have general awareness, security, safety and function specific hazardous materials training before tendering a shipment (49CFR 172.700). Programs can also be tailored to address the International Civil Aviation Organizations (ICAO) dangerous goods requirements for air transport as well as the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code for marine transport of dangerous goods. A comprehensive examination is conducted at the end of each program and a formal certificate is awarded upon successful completion.

As an expert in dangerous goods regulations, Jay’s niche is packaging solutions for the chemical and life science industries.
