About the seminar:
Transportation of biological
substances and infectious materials has become increasingly
challenging. With heightened enforcement and penalties by
PHMSA, new requirements for transport of biological substances,
and changes in Category B and IATA regulations, shippers’ need to
know and do more to be in compliance.
This seminar
will help you understand your risks and liabilities involved in the
worldwide transport of time and temperature sensitive life sciences
shipments. We will show you how to avoid costly incidents by
understanding current regulations and requirements for shipping
infectious/biological substances, HAZMAT goods and dry ice by
air.
Additionally, we will discuss the USDA Regulations for
importing samples & specimens and how to reduce risks of FDA
hold when importing into the U.S. You will learn how to transport
exempt human specimens and UN3373. And, we will review how to
properly pack, prepare and transport shipments packaged in dry ice
(UN1845).
The need for proper training has never been
greater. Join us for an information packed and insightful
seminar.
"As the Senior Analyst for our Global
Transportation Department, staying abreast of the current
regulations and proper classification and handling of
Biological Substances and Infectious Materials is critical.
The QuickSTAT seminars focus on the specific information I
need to know in an informal and interactive setting ...I
highly recommend them to anyone in the field."
